Witchcraft traditionally means the use of magic or supernatural powers to harm others.A practitioner is a witch.

In medieval and early modern Europe, where the term originated, accused witches were usually women who were believed to have attacked their own community, and often to have communed with evil beings.

It was thought witchcraft could be thwarted by protective magic or counter-magic, which could be provided by cunning folk or folk healers. Suspected witches were also intimidated, banished, attacked or killed. Often they would be formally prosecuted and punished, if found guilty or simply believed to be guilty.

European witch-hunts and witch trials in the early modern period led to tens of thousands of executions. In some regions, many of those accused of witchcraft were folk healers or midwives. European belief in witchcraft gradually dwindled during and after the Age of Enlightenment.

Some people don’t understand why people perform witchcraft, but in most cases it all starts when some is jealous of you. So by performing witchcraft they want to block you from prospering because there is a possibility that you have what they don’t have. And in most cases this kind of things are done by people who know you, like your friends, family members and neighbors so those are the people you have to watch out for.

And in most cases the people who are accused of witchcraft are black people, because they are the ones who are always exposed in public for doing witchcraft. Some of them were even killed by mob justice after they find them performing witchcraft. That’s is why people becomes shocked after hearing or seeing that a white person perform witchcraft.

We have people today, who are sick but can’t get healed, while others can’t find a job because of such things. This is not fair honestly, now they will feel the pain that the person felt all these years after they did what they did.

The man claim he recorded the witch taking off and flying in the air. The video was posted on social media and has caused controversy among netizens.

He captured a video as he woke up and called the attention of his partner, while he opened his window as the ‘w¡tch’ suddenly appeared in his sight.

He quickly shut the window curtains, but when he opened it again the abnormal creature was still there and even attempted to fly towards him the second time.

A woman has thrown her house help out of her house after accusing her of practicing witchcraft, with intentions of harming her with her diabolic practices.

In a video shared online, the businesswoman was seen approaching the house help as she begins scolding her, the maid is seen picking up her clothes thrown on the floor of the compound. He madam said;

According to his neighbours, who were ready to burn the suspected witches, Alfred took quite an unusual route in handling the situation.

An 18-year-old kid by the name of Samuel Akpobome has been captured by the police for purportedly killing his mom and lying down with her carcass for cash customs.

A 14-year-old girl has been rescued from two teenage boys while they were allegedly attempting to use her for ritual purposes in Bayelsa State.

The two boys aged 16 year, were caught in the early hours of Monday at Sagbama Federated community in Sagbama Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the teenagers used a charm to lure the girl to an uncompleted building to carry out the operation, but luck ran out of them as they were caught by a passerby that suspected their ‘ill’ movement.

One of the boys is alleged to be the son of the traditional ruler of Amanana-owei community.

Moment Nigerian Embassy in France calls police over ‘Juju’ [Watch]

A video of a sacrifice in a calabash, locally called Juju, sitting outside the entrance of the Nigerian Embassy in France has been shared online.

In the video, which went viral over the weekend, French policemen were called to the scene to remove the Juju.

But rather than being helpful, the policemen themselves looked confused.

The three officers moved away, except for one officer who was seen chatting with two men who stood close to the Embassy.

However, there was no information from the Embassy on the identity of the person who placed the juju in the secured building.

A Closed Circuit TV camera captured the moment a Nigerian man allegedly placed charm at his best friend’s door in Cheras, Malaysia.

In a video posted by Instablog9ja, the man who did not realise he was being recorded, could be seen pouring some powdered substance at the entrance into the apartment.

The owner of the apartment had been complaining of health issues only for him to check a neighbour’s CCTV and see what his bestfriend did.

The culprit was eventually banished from living amongst his Nigerian brothers. A part of the video shows him being escorted out of the premises with his bag on his head.

One of the men shared the story, writing;

”This happened in Venice hill condominium, located in Cheras, Malaysia. This our Nigerian brother was caught dropping charm for another of our brother.

The guy has been complaining of health issues, only to wake up this morning and saw what someone dropped in front of his door. He contacted his neighbors who have cameras and his best friend emerged as the ev*! doer. We had to banish him from living among us.”

A native doctor has vanished on the spot where he was beaten to stupor for allegedly trying to burying a 3-month-old baby alive.

The ugly incident happened in Edeoha Upata Ekpeye in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State where the native doctor lives.

Member representing Abua Odua/Ahoada East Federal Constituency, Umunuma Bidemi Edward-Odoi who shared the story on her Facebook timeline reveals that, the native Doctor who hails from Delta State was caught burying a 3-month child alive.

The native doctor popularly in the area as Dr. Mike India was confronted by angry youths after being caught. He was beaten to confess but disappeared aftermath.

According to her, after they exhumed the body of the poor baby, they found out that he was already dead.

She confirmed that several unimaginable things were found in his house like photographs of people he has killed, padlocks and people tied in chains.

Every efforts by the angry youths to set his house on fire was unsuccessful as the building failed to catch fire, so they pulled it down instead with heavy weapons.

All captives were set free but the native doctor is nowhere to be found as he disappeared after being beaten to confess.

Chaos As Woman, 2-Year-Old Girl Are Found Roaming Around N_aked At Neighbour’s Homestead

There was chaos in Sedze Village, Nyanga after a woman and her 2-year-old nephew were caught stark n_aked at a neighbor’s homestead.

The incident reportedly occurred last Saturday during the night.

Mavis Nyambuya and her two-year-old nephew reportedly ran out of luck after their would-be victim, Memory Mahowa woke up in the middle of the night.

Nyambuya and Mahowa are neighbors.

It is alleged that Mahowa had sought the assistance of self-proclaimed Mutare-based spiritual healer, Madzibaba Stephen Nzira after her children started experiencing weird things.

Her intention was to protect her homestead from witches.

Madzibaba Nzira confirmed the incident and told The Weekender that Mahowa sought his services.

“They visited my shrine sometime this year seeking my assistance after they had encountered some spiritual problems. It was a clear case of witchcraft. I did not disclose to them that their neighbour was behind these strange happenings.”

Neighbors and villagers reportedly rushed to the homestead after Nyambuya screamed for help.

The neighbors demanded instant justice. Luckily, the police’s swift reaction saved her.

A recorded video of Nyambuya begging for forgiveness and crying while seated on the ground with the young girl has gone viral on social media platforms, the publication reports.

Villagers expressed their concerns on Nyambuya’s move to recruit a young child into the diabolical world of witchcraft.

Acting Chief Saunyama, said although he was yet to get finer details of the matter, he would summon Nyambuya to his court.

According to Acting Chief Saunyama, if Nyambuya is found guilty, she is expected to pay a fine of not less than three beasts and also faces banishment from the area.

Bizarre: Man Caught Placing Two Eggs In In-Law’s Coffin During Her Funeral

A dramatic scene ensued after a 60-year-old man was caught placing eggs in a coffin a prominent business lady, while her funeral service was still ongoing.

The bizzare incident occurred at Eshiakhulo village in Mumias East, Kakamega County of Kenya, during the funeral service of Jane Mguu, popularly known in the village as Raila.

Benson Wetende said to be an in-law to the deceased and from the neighbouring Shibuli area, was seen stealthily approaching the coffin and placing two eggs beside the late’s ears.

Stella Musimbi who witnessed the whole saga said;

“We thought he was going to pay his last respect since the deceased was a well-known business lady around here, but we were shocked to see him dropping two eggs inside the coffin.”

Surprised mourners and relatives reportedly held him and forced him to explain the motive behind his actions, with some accusing Watende of being a witch.

Musimbi added;

“We asked him what the motive behind his actions was, but he could not explain.”

The presiding bishop from Faith Believers church, Simon Malenya was forced to end the service, as he tried to save the old man from irate mourners after he failed to explain his reason for placing the eggs in the coffin.

Wetende was subsequently whisked away from the burial ceremony with family members of the deceased asking their clan elders to find out what could be happening.

Wycliffe Ambwere, son of the deceased said;

“We want him to explain why he put the eggs in our mother’s coffin and the motive behind it because we have much respect for him as our uncle.”

The incident has also been condemned by the local church leaders led by Bishop Malenya and local administrator Sheban Lumbasi.
