Nigerian veteran musician peter Okoye a member of a clique knows P Square, has officially announced the disbanding of the group with his twin brother Paul Okoye.

Peter popularly known as Mr P, has announced the development on his official Facebook page in a statement described as “Open letter to my Brother Rudeboy”.

It is reported that, Rudeboy has been winning various interviews where he has been saying trash about his brother claiming dominates the group.

“However, seeing you grant countless interviews where you constantly discredit my efforts in the group that we both created and built together really speaks volumes. In your recent interviews, you claimed that you wrote and sang 99% of all P-SQUARE songs and discredited me by saying that our song with TI “EjeaJo,” which I wrote, was a failure”, reads the statement.

According to Mr P, whenever Rudeboy got an interview, he usually use pronoun “I”, “Me” when talking about a bout P Square as if is he owns the clique or he don not see the existence of his brother.

Meanwhile, this is the second time for P Square to part ways in 2027 and reconcile in 2021

Peter Okoye posted a disturbing note on social media, announcing his decision to retire due to exhaustion.

Although the P-Square prodigy failed to communicate what he meant in plain language, he had left fans concerned.

In a series of tweets, Peter Okoye hinted that he was leaving the music scene and would be replaced.

According to him, the decision to leave music was unavoidable due to the heaviness in his heart and the burden on his shoulders.

Peter Okoye wrote:

“I am quitting! Would be introducing someone else. Announcing it officially by the weekend! God bless y’all.”

“SAD! It’s been going on since last year! And I have done my best! And I am left with no choice than to Quit! Announcing official this weekend.”

Award-winning Nigerian music group, P-Squares are officially back together again after many years of beef and misunderstandings.

In a new video shared on social media platforms, the two who happened to be twin brothers, Peter and Paul were seen hugging each other in front of family and friends.

They were both all smiles. That is the first time in more than three years the Okoye brothers met each other again.

It is no longer a secret that the marriage of Paul Okoye the other half of P-Square and his wife of seven year Anita Okoye has hit the hard rock following the leaked court documents on the petition of divorce that hit the internet.

However, the rumors of divorce of the two started way back in April after Anita relocated to United States of America with the couples three children all in the name of furthering her education.

After the documents of their divorce hit online, a lot has been said regarding the main reason behind their split.

Citing other reasons for her decision to divorce Rudeboy as he is known in the music circles, Anita said that the music star ceased all forms of communication with her.

She also noted that they no longer share a conjugal relationship as husband and wife.

According to Anita in the petition, Paul denied her any form of companionship and love which are the integral components of all successful marriages.

She stated that there was a lack of spousal support that the music star shirked his responsibility as a husband by refusing to support and cater to her and her family members.

Recently it has been reported that the two got married because Paul was forced to take Anita om the isle because his twin brother Peter Okoye had already settled.

Confusion and uncertainty have continued to trail the alleged divorce proceedings said to have been initiated by Anita, the wife of singer and former member of P-Square, Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboi.

On Friday, a court document allegedly filed by Anita went viral on the Internet.

The document, which showed a notice of petition holden in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, depicted Anita Okoye as the petitioner and Paul Okoye as the respondent.

According to Punch, in the document, Paul Okoye was said to be at liberty to deny the claims in the petition, allege additional facts for the consideration of the court, submit to the court that it should dismiss any of the proceedings instituted by the petitioner, or file an answer to the petition.

However, the one-page document which seems to be a fragment of a larger paper work does not have the court’s endorsement on it. Also, the petition number and other aspects of it were blurred.

The date the said document was made or filed could also not be ascertained as there was no such information on the surface of the document.

When asked for his reaction, Rudeboi stated that he was not interested in talking about the matter and hung up.

He said, “You people should stop calling me about this sh!t.”

Messages sent to Anita on social media were also unanswered as of the time of going to press.

Multiple reports from sources close to Paul Okoye a former member of the P-Square group has been confirmed that the marriage between Paul Okoye, one his entrepreneur wife, Anita Okoye is over as Anita Okoye files a petition for a divorce.

Details surrounding the crash of the marriage came from the leak of the official petition for the divorce which cited irreconcilable differences and infidelity as the basis of the irretrievable breakdown of the marriage.

Paul and Anita got married in 2014 after dating for 10 years throughout their university days and they both share three children.

The news of their pending divorce comes as a shock to both families and their close friends because there was no lead to show they have issues in their marriage.

A source close to the couple indicated that both Paul and Anita will proceed amicably with the legal resolution and be the best co-parents in the interest of their children.

Anita Okoye is currently in the United States of America furthering her education and her lawyers back in Nigeria are handling the divorce case.

The talented dancer and former member of the defunct P-Square music group, took to his Instagram page to make the revelation.

NIGERIA – Twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye are a year older today and they both took to Instagram to celebrate themselves but didn’t celebrate each other.

The brothers, who made up the now-defunct P-Square duo before they fell out, turn 39 today.

After scooping the award the artist further went to dedicate the award to his fans for their support.

Tay grin whose has a new album coming up is also expected to be in Dublin, Ireland, where he is billed to perform on 31 October alongside Pop Dogg.

Lawyer Alexina Phiri has been for Best Former Beauty Queen at the BEFFTA awards, she joins Malawian hip-hop artist Tay Grin on the list of Malawians nominated for the awards.

‘I am happy to have been nominated. An opportunity to put Malawi on the map is always an honour,’ commented Alexina when asked about her nomination for such a big award.

Also nominated in the Best Former Beauty Queen category are: Shakira Nabakooza, AlexSandra Gondora, Ruvombo Chinzou, Chelsea Mandizha, Amelia Lola, Gloria Elongo, Gladys Kyotungire, Michelle Esther Vigan, Samaia Tchapesseka, Chanice Thompson.

Alexina Phiri the beauty queen who was crowned Miss Malawi UK in 2013 has said she opted to keep her crown at the expense of 1st Runner-up Miss Black Africa UK because of the passion she has for Malawi.

The beauty queen revealed to media sources that she had a choice to choose one of the two titles she won in both events.

Phiri added that her 1st Runner-up title she clinched in the Miss Black Africa UK could have brought her many opportunities if she were to keep it.

“There could have been opportunities because I could have been representing the Africa continent and there were charity events lined up for me,” she added.

Reports Indicates that Nigeria’s music artist P-Square will again date Malawi, following their 2013 concert in Lilongwe that was marred by rains.

Peter and Paul Okoye, who are twins, last dated Malawi on March 16 last year at Lilongwe Golf Club and during their tour, they also visited the Head of State, Joyce Banda.

Special Assistant to the Head of State who is also a relative of the head of state, Martha T. Chikuni, on Monday hinted the duo’s second coming to Malawi through Facebook.

It appears the duo has been invited to perform in Malawi as President Banda’s initiative of campaigning and a way of wooing the youthful vote whom she is already doing her best to solicit in her camp by picking Sosten Gwengwe as a running mate to her.
