Amid sexual and assault allegations against the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nation, SCOAN, Prophet TB Joshua, YouTube has removed the church’s main channel.

Emmanuel TV is used to broadcast the religious activities performed by the church.

This is coming on the heels of the controversial documentary reports by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) about the allegations of torture and rape perpetrated by TB Joshua.

However, YouTube said the channel was removed over violation of its policy.

“The flagged channel was terminated for violating our hate speech policies,” Youtube said.

YouTube has policies against cyberbullying and harassment and specifically forbids harassment against survivors of sexual violence.

Earlier this month, BBC released a documentary where some of his former associates accused TB Joshua of sexually and physically assaulting them while he was alive.

A public affairs analyst and member of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Mr Dare Adejumo, on Tuesday, faulted the BBC documentary on the Founder of SCOAN, late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, known as TB Joshua.

He described the documentary as unfounded, noting that the characters interviewed in the report were unknown to the church.

But a former disciple of the prophet, Paul Agomoh, who spoke to the BBC, insisted that the allegations were true, adding that he had to go into hiding for eight years after speaking out as his life was under threat.

The PUNCH reports that No fewer than 25 persons gave eyewitness accounts bordering on allegations of sexual assault, physical abuse, faked miracles and trauma -allegedly suffered in the hands of the late, BBC reports Monday.

However, in a statement he personally signed, Adejumo rubbished the BBC report, saying the media house “descended into fictional narratives and propaganda”.

“BBC has compromised these lofty principles by descending into fictional narratives and propaganda, thus turning itself into a weapon for a hatchet job as gangsters in the gab of journalism with a destructive ulterior motive for personal gains against a perceived enemy.

“Only BBC can best explain why it woefully deviated from true journalism and chose to be dishing junks and feeding the public with stones called bread by its offensive and disenchanted reports of disgruntled elements.

“This, to say the least, is insulting to our professional and public intelligence. One thing is very obvious, hundreds of BBC charades cannot rubbish the indelible footprints of TB Joshua’s legacies on earth again,” Adejumo said.

According to him, thousands of human beings have received dumbfounding miracles and tremendously benefited from the anointing and grace the Lord endued with His servant.

”BBC has obviously shot itself in the foot by its compromise and roadside journalism. Some of those identified there are relics of homosexual and lesbian associates. My findings further show that everything the BBC put together is strange to SCOAN.

“One other clearly illogical thing in the charade is the BBC’s categorical statement that the man of God was involved in all the abuse for over two decades!

”How can that be in a nation governed by law? It shows the station’s crude disrespect and bizarre perception of Nigeria.

“Where were all those shameless interviewees in all the decades? Was it when the man passed on that they suddenly became awake or came back to their senses? Only a fool will have respect for such charlatans.”

According to him, it is obvious that the sponsors of the BBC hatchet job must have been envious of the continued growth of the church like the tree planted by the riverside.

“Thank God your report exonerated his only wife of any wrongdoings throughout the decades of your so-called investigated lopsided work.

“But did you think any wife at all can see and watch all those nonsensical and annoying scenarios you painted for decades and still kept silent? I am yet to read or see such a woman in the universe!

“This is illogical, irritating, incomprehensible, unfathomable, and satanically dubious and malicious.”

Joshua, one of Africa’s most influential religious leaders and richest pastors, had the world at his feet during his lifetime.

He was the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, a 12-storey building, situated in the Ikotun area of Lagos State, where he lived alongside many of his followers.

Joshua was popular for his miracles – which ‘delivered’ people – followers and visitors – of any ailment, ranging from cancer and HIV/AIDS to chronic migraines and blindness.

Meanwhile, one of Joshua’s ex-disciples, Agomoh, said he was the first Prophet under the SCOAN.

The spiritual daughters of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) prophetesses Anne and Yinka have arrived in the country for a two-day youth seminar slated for 3rd to 4th September 2022.

The seminar will be hosted by Bishop Simama of Glorious Light International Church and other evangelists.

General Secretary for Glorious Light International Church, Enarson Suya, expressed hope that the patrons at the conference will be delivered.

This is the second time for prophetesses Anne and Yinka to come to Malawi.

Self acclaimed Ghanaian man of God Bishop Sam has made a shocking revelation regarding the death of leader and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet TB Joshua.

Speaking to his followers at his church on Sunday, the Bishop claimed that Prophet TB Joshua did not die a natural death but rather he was killed.

According to him he knows the people who allegedly took the life of the Prophet and he will make them known very soon.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) reopened for regular services on Sunday, 21 months after the Lagos-based religious centre was shut owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

TB Joshua, the late founder of the SCOAN, had stopped regular services in March 2020 after the Federal Government announced measures to curb the spread of the disease.

But in a statement on TB Joshua’s Ministries official Facebook page, the church wrote: “At God’s time, everything is beautiful! Healing, deliverance, and all of God’s blessings happen! Now is the time!” to signal the restart of services.

Malawi’s Prophet F.T Samuel attended the opening ceremony upon invited by the new management.

“On 5th December 2021, The Synagogue Church of all Nations -SCOAN had its first Sunday service after over one and a half years of closing its doors to the same. It was also the first Service after the transitioning into glory of Prophet TB Joshua, the father and founder of the Church and under the new leadership of Mama Evelyn Joshua.

“It was a grand opening, attended by people of all nations. From Malawi, together with a few others, Prophet F.T. Samuel received a special invitation to be part of the service and he honoured the grace,” reads part of the statement.

The service, conducted in compliance with COVID-19 protocols, was led by Evelyn Joshua who emerged as the leader of the Lagos-based church after a leadership tussle.

Sunday’s return to regular church service is coming five months after the death of the Ondo-born cleric who was credited to have attracted several high-profile politicians to the SCOAN when he was alive.

His burial, which was held about one month after his demise, had attracted hundreds of mourners from within and outside the country.

He had died on June 5th, a few hours after he finished a service but the cause of his death was never made public.

Six months after the death of Prophet TB Joshua, in-person service kicked off at his Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday with his widow, Prophetess Evelyn TB Joshua, presiding.

Besides the death of the founder, the Covid-19 pandemic had seen the church close for almost 21 months. However, activities peaked on December 5, 2021, as the new leadership, led by Evelyn, took over formally.

Worshippers trooped in for services at the headquarters of the church in the Ikotun neighborhood of Lagos, Nigeria, with estimated statistics putting the number of worshippers occupying the sprawling auditorium at 11,000.

TB Joshua died on June 5, 2021 and his wife succeeded him amid grumbling from a faction of the church leadership.

Evelyn, 53, in her maiden address at the church, called on the members’ support and prayers to continue from where her husband left, saying the journey had not been easy since his demise.

“These past months have surely been challenging but we thank you all for being strong and for keeping the faith as we have been trained…trials are the soil upon which faith flourishes. We have now commenced the journey from where our father left. He had already prepared us all for this new phase and we must rise up to the occasion as a team under the command of God and the direction of the Holy Spirit,” she said.

Almost six monthsn after the death of highly controversial man of God, It has now been established that Temitope Balogun Joshua (T.B Joshua) died of stroke- although an official statement to that effect is yet to be communicated by his family and the church.

The popular prophet and televangelist was reportedly flown by air ambulance to Turkey where he finally died after battling the illness for two months. And this has raised eyebrows as social media users queried why the man of God who preached to his followers not to visit hospital would go against his very core preachings

According to trustworthy accounts, Temitope Joshua, better known as Prophet TB Joshua, the Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, died on his way to the hospital.

“Yesterday evening, he led a service. He’d been ill for the past two days. After the evening performance, he decided to go to the hospital. On his way to the hospital, he passed away,” it was revealed by a source.

Nigerians, on Sunday morning, woke up to the sad news about the death of the preacher, who many described as a giver and keen about helping people.

Christians and Muslims alike took turns in eulogizing the man of God who was known for providing for the needy as well as standing out with his preachings. While some are of the opinion that he was a fake prophet who had dirty dealings and as such should not be celebrated in death.

Evelyn T. B. Joshua, the new leader of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN ) has announced that it would commence open church ser­vice to all its members soon following leading by God.

This is coming one and a half years after the outbreak of COVID-19 which led to the restrictions of public gather­ings in the country.

Mrs. Joshua stated on Sun­day that although members and leaders are eager to begin services, we have to first hear from the Lord and be guided by the revelations from the Holy Spirit before we can begin ser­vice.

“We are getting ready and even yearning to start Services but we cannot go outside the will of God whose directive is what we shall continue to up­hold, live and work on.”

Present at the briefing on Sunday also includes, head of Environment department, Engr. Niyi Jegede, members of Finance department, Messrs. Tunde Olanipekun, and Abra­ham Showumi and chairman of Welfare department, Mr. Kola Kareem among other prominent members.

Evelyn stated that before the demise of the founder of SCOAN, prophet Temitope Joshua, SCOAN was yet to start services unlike other churches and that the peculiarity of the church where foreigners are all eager to be present amidst the world health crisis even right now have always been put into consideration.

Her words: “We have no fear whatsoever but don’t forget a good Christian must also be a good citizen. We have contin­ued to pray for God’s mercy for our nation and the world. Besides, I am still mourning the passing of my husband. When the morning time is over and most importantly when the Lord intimates us to begin, we shall move swiftly in God’s grace. Be assured that God’s mercy endures and by His grace SCOAN shall come out stronger.”

Speaking on plans to reopen for service, a legal member representing SCOAN legal de­partment, Mr. James Akhigbe revealed that various commit­tees have been set up to ensure that there is smooth service in compliance with the Presiden­tial Taskforce committee rec­ommendations on COVID-19 protocol and the leadership is also waiting for the leading of the holy spirit.

“Very soon the church will commence service but we don’t do things based on human emotions, We don’t conduct the affairs of SCOAN to please peo­ple but we embark on project because we have heard from God. We are very hopeful that Godwill give us the green light. Meanwhile, we cannot say tomorrow because you can not dictate to the Holy Spirit,” he said.

Three months have gone since the death of leader and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua Popularly known as TB Joshua and the church is still under lock.

However, the church is still reeling from the impact of his death, mainly as a result of the lack of a succession plan, a rebellion and an alleged attempt to steal from the church.

It is 10:25am on Sunday 19 September. Thousands of worshippers across the globe are tuned into the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN)’s Emmanuel TV as they watch a clip of the late TB Joshua, founder of the church and minister for the day’s service. Around the same time, at the church headquarters in Nigeria’s commercial capital Lagos, people trickle in to pray and pay their last respects to the late pastor whose pictures dot the church premises.

A few things are out of place though: there seems to be more security personnel on the ground than church members and visitors on the premises. Unlike what is usually the case, there are just a handful of church workers, since many of them were sacked by the new leadership under Evelyn, TB Joshua’s wife, according to sources.

“They sent all of them packing. They said some of them were stealing money and one was even caught,” a source tells The Africa Report during a visit to the church on Sunday. This is just one of the many controversies that the Synagogue has struggled with in the aftermath of TB Joshua’s death. “Many of them were asked to go and some (were also sacked) because of the leadership issue.”

The death of the SCOAN founder, who died at the age of 57 on 5 June, shattered the hearts of the hundreds of thousands of worshippers who often came from countries worldwide to hear him speak and perform miracles. As they grieved, there was a sudden realization that there was no plan in place to ensure the smooth emergence of a successor.

In this limbo, a power play started to unfold behind the scenes as influential members of the church and some leaders weighed in on who should be next to take on the mantle. Some backed Evelyn, TB Joshua’s wife, but many did not, arguing that the successor should be among leaders he worked closely with as ‘wise men’ and senior disciples.

That Evelyn was not a trustee of SCOAN and neither was she deeply involved in the church’s activities prior to her husband’s death did not augur well. This prompted some church members to file a petition at the court, requesting that she be named among the incorporated trustees of SCOAN. The court granted the order, a move which angered some members; but eventually, on 11 September, it paved the way for Evelyn’s emergence as the leader of the church.

“It is now God’s appointed time, to the glory of God, for the SCOAN to soldier on with the divine assignment under the guidance of God and the human leadership of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua,” the church said in a statement.

In a video message in which she accepted the role, she announced a “new dawn” for the church. “As we all know, Prophet TB Joshua fought the good fight of the Kingdom and finished strong, to the glory of God. We have now commenced the journey from where our father left the baton… There is no gainsaying the fact that I and the entire team […] need your prayers, support, encouragement and advice all at this time. The duty is much, the burden is heavy, but we will all cast them unto Jesus, who has already given a promise of His help.”

Evelyn’s emergence did not go down well with some influential leaders of the church who had allegedly left her in the dark, failing to inform her and other members of TB Joshua’s family about key church activities in the aftermath of the founder’s death.

She had barely settled into her new role when it became clear that the duty she had spoken about was just as heavy as the opposition that she would face. A rebel group emerged, claiming that Evelyn “made a unilateral declaration of herself as the new leader of the Church” and that her emergence did not follow due process.

According to the church members under the aegis of the Global Congress of SCOAN (GCSM), “she claimed [that] a congregation of 2000 church members appointed her. This is ridiculous. Where [was] the meeting [held]? Was it through a Yes vote? Was it through an election? Was it through ‘anointing’ by the 2000 members? Where is the resolution of the 2000 members? Can 2000 members pick a successor in a church with millions of members all over the world in five continents?

“Pastor TB Joshua never ran the church on the basis of profit. Today, there is a design by the newly self-imposed leader, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, to commercialise every activity in the church for money. Mrs. Evelyn Joshua is not a pastor. She was never anointed by Pastor Joshua. What is the basis of her emergence as the person now parading herself as the new leader?”

In the middle of the rebellion, there were rumours of the arrest and detention of some church members, amid speculation that the new leadership was going after a certain group of people. However, SCOAN denied this, saying that a comprehensive audit of the church’s activities since the death of TB Joshua has been directed “to secure certain critical assets of the church.”

James Akhigbe, the church’s head of legal department, says this was in view of the discovery of “huge cases of financial misappropriation perpetrated in the past few months, reckless individualism and unimaginable acts grossly antipodal to the sanctuary with the passing of the founder.”

Officials did not immediately respond to an enquiry to speak on the alleged fraud, which The Africa Report has learned now involves Nigeria’s anti-graft agency. The leadership is said to have forwarded a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) asking it to investigate the senior members of the church caught up in the fraud allegation.

The Guardian, a local newspaper, quoted a source who gave insight into the nature of fraud involved. “They [those being investigated] have carried out huge fraud that has made many of them multi-millionaires since Baba’s death. They are up to 20. They seized the church immediately after the prophet died in June and didn’t want his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, to be part of the church.

They have made themselves overseers. They have established a governing council with some living in the Prayer Mountains. They went to the vault at night and used a Ghana-Must-Go bag to loot money. They also went to open the Emmanuel global network where they asked international partners to donate without the knowledge of Evelyn.”

In her first comments as the SCOAN leader, Evelyn told the Synagogue Church members that her husband – not her – “remains the founder and General Overseer” of the church. No doubt, she has an arduous task leading a temple with cracks of alleged fraud. However, as she continues to face a rebellion, she wants the church members to “let love lead” and “rise as an army of God as we push this Great Commission forward.”

“I am only a servant who, under the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit, will team up with you all to direct the affairs of this great ministry,” she said, before taking full charge of the affairs of The Synagogue.

Recently, some members reportedly rejected the appointment of his wife, Evelyn Joshua, as the new leader. They claimed the late founder wanted his successor to be from among other pastors he had anointed.

Three months after the death of prophet TB Joshua, the founder of Synagogue Church of all Nations, his congregants are fighting one battle after another.

They alleged the rule had been swept aside by a few members, whom they claimed were building stumbling blocks against the progress of the church. Earlier this month, the church board of trustees officially appointed Evelyn as the new leader of the Lagos-based church.

Taking to Facebook, the church said their activities would be conducted under the guidance of God and Evelyn’s leadership. It further urged members and followers to pray for her as she took on her new role.

However, church members under a group, identified as Global Congress of Synagogue Members, also released a statement saying they were worried about the emergence of Evelyn, who made a unilateral declaration of herself as the new leader of the church.

The group further said Evelyn had claimed a congregation of 2 000 church members appointed her. “This is ridiculous. Where did the meeting hold? Was it through a yes vote? Was it through the election? Was it through ‘anointing’ by the 2 000 members?”

The group also claimed that the late founder never anointed his wife to succeed him, even going as far as accusing her of planning to commercialize every activity in the church for money.

According to Nigeria media outlet The Punch, members and partners of the church, as well as Emmanuel TV, said some people were planning to destroy it after the demise of the founder.

The publication reported that members and partners of the church and Emmanuel TV in Akure, Ondo State, distanced themselves from the group.

“The acclaimed global congress group and its so-called members are not known to us in Akure. None of us, genuine members and partners, has ever come across this acclaimed group called GCSM and its members in several church programs and activities conducted in Akure or Lagos church auditorium in the past 20 years,” it reported.

Months have gone since the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was closed following the death of it’s founder and leader Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua also knows as TB Joshua by his followers.

Even though his church has refuted the allegations that succession crisis is the matter delaying the reopening of the church, people are still speculating that it is indeed the sole reason the church is still under lock.

Immediately after Joshua’s death, reports had it that his widow Evelyn Joshua will take over the leadership mantle.

Confirming her appointment, Evelyn Joshua delivered a statement on the church’s official Facebook page.

“I am pleased to address you at this moment upon my appointment as the leader of The SCOAN,” she said.

However, some members are still opposing the appointment of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua as the SCOAN leader.

“Mrs. Evelyn Joshua is not a Pastor. She was never anointed by Pastor Joshua. She was not part of the founding members of the Church.

“What is the basis of her emergence as the person now parading herself as the new leader?”

The above were the words of some aggrieved members of the synagogue church who rejected TB Joshua’s wife as their new leader.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, is probing some disciples and workers of the church following the discovery of financial misappropriation after the death of the church’s founder, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, aka T.B. Joshua.

The Head of SCOAN’s Legal Department, James Akhigbe, who disclosed this in a statement said the audit followed the appointment of Mrs Evelyn Joshua, wife of the late T.B Joshua as a member of the church’s Board of Trustees, BoT.

Akhigbe said the affected workers are not being victimized in the ongoing process. stating that the ongoing audit of disciples and workers of SCOAN is being carried out objectively under a regular and absolutely normal environment without any harassment.

“We stand in the light and we cannot compromise the ideal and legacy of our mentor and founder, late Senior Prophet TB Joshua on integrity, spiritual worship, unconditional love and humanitarianism.

“The public would recall that on the 9th of September, 2021, the Board Of Trustees BOT of the SCOAN appointed Mrs. Evelyn TB Joshua as its Chairperson.

“This followed an order of the Federal High Court in Suit No. FHC/L/CP/1109/2021 which appointed Mrs. Evelyn T.B Joshua as a Trustee. The BOT had also appointed Mrs. TB Joshua as the new leader of the church with ratification by over two thousand strong jubilant congregations of the Church at a meeting on Thursday afternoon,” the statement read.

“Following this, and in view of the discovery of huge cases of financial misappropriation perpetrated in the past few months, reckless individualism and unimaginable acts grossly antipodal to the Sanctuary with the passing of the founder, the church leadership took steps to secure certain critical assets of the Church with an authorization for a comprehensive audit of the activities of the Church since the call to glory of our Founder and General Overseer in the interest of the global church members and future of the Church.

“This exercise involved some category of church workers including Disciples and it is being carried out objectively under a regular and absolutely normal environment without any harassment whatsoever to any person or group of persons, contrary to the disingenuous narrative now being peddled by mischief makers.”

PROPHET Temitope Joshua’s wife Evelyn has evicted some of the senior clergymen in his church from the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan) premises is Lagos as part of a crackdown involving her assuming control of the ministry.

Popularly known as TB Joshua, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the fiery clergyman passed away on June 5 this year, just six days to his 58th birthday. During his lifetime, Prophet Joshua earned a reputation for always predicting events in Nigeria and abroad, which set him at odds with some other evangelical clergymen who accused him of using witchcraft.

Over the last week, Mrs Evelyn Joshua has begun moves to assume full control of Scoan by evicting some of the senior clergymen who disrespected her in the past. She has asked some of these of her late husband’s disciples to leave the church premises

One church source said: “These disciples asked to leave were those who disrespected Evelyn while her husband was alive. They sidelined her, it’s a powerful tussle.”

A few weeks after his death, Prophet TB Joshua was buried within the church premises in Lagos State. According to his church, Prophet Joshua had earlier in the day participated in a church programme during which he predicted his death, quoting a passages from the bible of Amos.

The widow of Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly known as TB Joshua, has officially taken charge of his Lagos-based mega-church.

Ms Evelyn Joshua will now lead the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), founded by her late husband, after the Federal High Court in Nigeria approved her appointment as a trustee.

According to a statement issued by the church yesterday, Justice Tijjani Ringim of the High Court gave the judgment in Ikoyi.

The decision follows a petition filed by some church members after the death of the charismatic pastor and televangelist in June.

The petitioners sought her appointment, arguing that the two surviving members of the Board of Trustees could not legally make the decision that could help the church move forward.

“In the circumstances, it became imperative for an additional trustee to be appointed to fill the vacancy created by the untimely death of the deceased founder,” they argued in court papers.

Since the pastor’s sudden death at 58, no successor was officially picked even though it was generally expected that Evelyn would assume leadership of the church.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has remained closed since its founder, Prophet TB Joshua died in June.

Entry to the church area on Segun Irefin Street has remained unusually calm, as the doors leading to the church were under lock and key.

As usual, the security post remained well-manned by armed security operatives, but people were allowed passage through the street, as it leads to other areas in the axis.

As a reminder of the recent passing and funeral of its late founder, the street was laced with different portraits of the prophet.

The pictures displayed his works, family, ministry and philanthropic gestures in different parts of the world. People could be seen praying in front of his pictures, while some were seen touching them as they prayed.

A middle-aged woman praying in front of one of the giant pictures, could be heard praying that the “God of TB Joshua should bless” her, as he has no money to go back home.

One striking picture was one in which Prophet TB Joshua was captured carrying concrete alongside other members and labourers when the church was being built.

According to The Nation, one of the officials of the church said that the date of reopening of the church will be announced through Emmanuel TV, the church’s satellite television station.

According to her, the church is putting plans in place for the formal reopening of the church. She noted that the death of Prophet TB Joshua was sudden, as the church did not envisage his quick exit.

“We need to put proper plans in place before we re-open the church,” she said.

Another official however said the church is guided by the spirit of God and that it will only reopen when the Holy Spirit gives the go ahead.

“We are waiting earnestly for the leading and approval of the holy spirit before we reopen.”

A tweet by the late Prophet TB Joshua on his official handle in June 2020 had announced the closure of the church due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country then, stating that “we are waiting to hear from God on when to reopen. Viewers, don’t forget there was a revelation three times concerning the church closing.”

While reacting to the federal government’s relaxation of the ban on worship centres months after, Joshua had maintained that “it is God that would determine when the church will reopen.”

“Meet us as usual on Emmanuel TV until we hear from God when to reopen, the same God who gave us the prophecy three times about the church closing. It is God’s work, not our work. Here, our thanks go to the authorities for understanding. Jesus is Lord!” the prophet had said.

The church thus remained closed till Joshua’s death and has remained so, aside the brief moment it was opened for his funeral activities.

Inside sources however said the late Prophet was broadcasting live from his prayer mountain in Agodo-Egbe area to the world through Emmanuel TV before his sudden demise.

What many however do not understand is why the church has remained closed even after it opened its doors to mammoth visitors during the prophet’s burial.

Miracle Ministries Prophetess Joyce Chokotho has asked President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to call for National Prayers on the deadly pandemic Coronavirus which has so far claimed lives of over 1,300 lives including two Cabinet Ministers.

Chokotho’s call comes weeks after the country started recording a sharp rise in new COVID-19 cases and fatalities.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with faceofmalawi, Chokotho claimed God through late Prophet TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) appeared to her twice telling her asking Malawians together with the President and his Vice Dr. Saulos Chilima to pray hard and the pandemic will vanish.

“Two days ago when I was in my bedroom, I saw a strange light in one of the walls in the room and as I was trying to ask myself as to what is happening. I saw the face of the departed Prophet TB Joshua putting on black pair of trouser, white shirt while smiling at me.

“He then told me that I should be careful with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, tell Malawians to pray for the pandemic or else all of you will perish because this pandemic is written in the bible,” said Chokotho.

According to Chokotho, after the she took fasting because she didn’t know how the message will be delivered to the intended authorities including the President.

“After the fasting, while seated in my sit roam I heard a voice warning me and the country as whole to pray against the COVID-19, saying Satan is having evil plans against this nation with an aim of denting the emerge of the current leadership. To be honest with you, Chakwera is a good leader but this pandemic will make him look like a failure.

“Now am urging all Malawians and the President himself to pray for the country and this pandemic will vanish and all of us will be free again. This is the work of the devil at play,” added Chokotho.

Effort to talk to Minister of Information Gospel Kazako on the matter proved futile.

So far about 780 Malawians have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours with 26 new deaths.

Meanwhile government through the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has introduced new measures control further spread of the pandemic.

The great prophet of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) has gone to be with the Lord. This is no longer news. Nigerians and those around the world who believed in Prophet T.B. Joshua’s ministry were heartbroken by his passing on Sunday, June 6.

As it is commonly said, “a child must carry on his Father’s heritage,” which is why it is only sensible and safe for a father to raise another son to carry on the tradition.

It is a biblical principle that outstanding ministers of God raise other ministers as if they were their sons in the faith. Paul, for example, reared Timothy and Titus as his sons in the religion. This phenomena was seen with Prophet T.B Joshua, who raised other preachers who are just like him, as though he knew his time on earth would be limited.

They’re known as the 5 WISE MEN. These individuals were raised by Joshua himself and commissioned according to the Spirit’s leadership, despite the fact that they came from diverse countries. They are said to be full of power and grace, and that they, like their father – T.B. Joshua – perform amazing miracles.

The 5 wise men are the prophet’s sons who were profoundly influenced by T.B. Joshua. Those who have heard them preach or see them show God’s power can know where the grace comes from. Despite the fact that they were released by the prophet and are having an effect in their respective communities, they owe their lives to T.B Joshua and remain devoted to him.

Under T.B.’s supervision, the 5 wise men all served as pastors in SCOAN. Joshua was imprisoned for a long time; one of the Wise Men is said to have served for eight years before being released.

The wise men’s names are Wise Man Racine, Wise Man John Chi, Wise Man Harry, Wise Man Daniel, and Wise Man Christopher, in no particular sequence. Although it may be difficult, these men have a strong desire to carry on their father’s legacy and step in his footsteps.
