Civil Society Grand Coalition (CSO) have described the voter verification exercise ahead of May 20 tripartite election which has been marred by numerous irregularities as a total flop.

Voice Mhone, leader of the grouping said this yesterday in an interview with one of the International media house( Voice of America).

“The ongoing voter verification exercise is a total flop”, he said.

He also expressed concern that the playing field for the ongoing campaign is not leveled.

“The other issue is trying to level the playing ground. Both state controlled media and private media they are up to now showing some bias in their reports, and therefore, the ground is not leveled enough”, said Mhone.

The voter verification which is in third and final phase has been marred by numerous challenges like missing names, miss placed details and others.
