Mutharika pays tribute to Inkosi Njolomole of Ntcheu

President Arthur Peter Mutharika on Wednesday paid tribute to late T/A Njolomole describing him as someone who ably facilitated and supervised development projects in his area besides his traditional roles as chief.

T/A Njolomole, real name Frackson Njolomole, died at the age of 89 at Ntcheu District Hospital after a long illness.

The President visited the seat of the chieftaincy at Mtchakhata in Ntcheu to pay his respects where he offered his condolences to the family.

According to Ntcheu District Commissioner, Paul Kalilombe, the departed Ngoni chief was born on September 27, 1926 and ascended to the chieftaincy throne in 1964.

Family sources say late Njolomole is survived by many children, grandchildren and great grand children.

Burial ceremony is expected to take place Friday at his Mtchakhatha Headquarters.
