Mphwiyo’s shooting case updates: Kasambara not satisfied with his conviction, to appeal the case

Former Justice Minister Ralph Kasambara has said he will appeal in the shooting case of former Budget Director Paul Mphwiyo.

High Court Judge Michael Mtambo has found guilty Kasambara, Pika Manondo and Macdonald Kumwembe of conspiracy to murder Paul Mphwiyo today at the High Court in Lilongwe and he has revoked bail of the three.

Speaking after the conviction, Kasambara said he is no convinced with Judge’s findings on the case and his conviction, saying he will appeal.

Kasambara together with Kumwembe and Manondo have been taken to Maula Prison where they will be remanded.
