A man in Kenya is currently on the run after he killed his wife and two children for reasons known to himself.
According to The Star, the incident happened on Thursday night at a village known as Thua.
Reports say residents woke up to a shocking scene of the 44-year-old’s wife and children lying in a pool of blood.
The police in Nzambani have already launched a manhunt for Thenge Mutua -the assailant, who disappeared after the incident.
Kitui county police commander Antony Kamitu said an investigation was on course to establish why the man killed his 34-year-old wife, daughter, 14, and the young son.
“We have the incident report about the murder but we are investigating the motive,” Kamitu told the Star on the phone.
The bodies were removed from the scene and taken to the Kitui Level 4 hospital mortuary.
