A man only identified as Andrew Mafuli died on Thursday evening after a vehicle he was travelling in threw him out following a road accident along Blantyre-Chikwa
According to Chikwawa police public relations officer, Foster Benjamin, the incident occurred close to Thabwa roadblock at around 5 pm.
The deceased was aboard a Toyota Dyna 2-tonner as a passenger.

“Msinga, while descending the last escarpment, suddenly lost control of the vehicle following faulty brakes,” said the PRO.
The vehicle veered off the road to the far left, leaving the deceased hitting the hard surface.
He sustained severe head injuries and died a few minutes later while on the way to the hospital.
