One of the founding members of the Blantyre-based choir Advent Hope Ministries has died.
According to a family member, Kennedy Senenje, Mada was involved in a car crash on Sunday night as he drove home in Chilomoni Fargo in Blantyre.
Commenting on the sad development Mejor Nyirenda who leads Advent Hope Ministries said Mada’s death is a big loss to the group.
“It is a great shock to us all. Just yesterday, we were with him only to hear this. We are talking of someone who’s been there since the inception of the group. He was ever-consistent, a team player and a great organiser in all our events. He will greatly be missed but we believe there is hope after death.”
Senenje is survived by a wife and two daughters.
Burial of the remains of late Senenje will take place in Ntcheu.
