Mponela Residents Vow to Demonstrate Against Corrupt Police Officers

Residents of Mponela have vowed to go ahead with protest matches to force authorities transfers some police officers at Mponela Police Station on grounds that they are corrupt.

On Monday morning a meeting ended pre-maturely after Dowa Police Officer in Charge Freezer Msitu tried to block the residents from their plans to protest.

In an interview with one of the concerned citizen said they wanted corrupt Police officers transferred by the end of business yesterday or else they go to the streets this morning.
