A man from Hyderabad was caught on camera as he stole a crown that was kept on the head of an idol. From a devoted man, the accused turned into a ‘thief’ within seconds, as he stole the crown from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
Allegedly, the man apologised to the idol before stealing the crown. According to the CCTV footage of the temple, the accused man entered the temple at around 6.20 pm on Wednesday.
The man folds his hands, holds his ears as if apologising, turns around multiple times as he faces the idol. After his elaborate prayer, the man reaches out to hold the crown that sits on the idol’s head.
