A woman in Samatha Nagar, Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam in India, allegedly threw acid on another woman.
The incident took place on Wednesday. The victim suffered 30 per cent burns and was taken to a private hospital. She is said to be out of danger.
The accused allegedly targeted the 30-year-old victim after the two of them had an argument. The victim had returned from Hyderabad in the morning.
According to a reports, the accused hurled acid at the victim as the latter was in a relationship with her husband.
In the past as well, the accused had warned the victim against continuing her relationship with her husband.
No action has been taken against the accused as the victim has not lodged a police complaint.
