According to an opinion poll conducted late last night on 21st July by a Faith Based Relief and Development Non Governmental Organizations in Bangwe Township, in the outskirts of Blantyre, over 90% of the citizens interviewed felt the public address by President Bingu wa Mutharika was empty. Instead it angered them by being called “satans.” If Bingu calls them Satans, is he the son of God? To them it is Bingu who has brought Satan in Malawi. It is him who brought the quota system for selecting students in the University. It is him who introduced nepotism is government by appointing his Mlakho wa Lomwe members in all government jobs. The general opinion is that Bingu has lost mandate to continue ruling Malawians as President. Instead the Civil Society Leaders should not relent. They also felt was wrong for Bingu to bring the Malawi Army on the roads. Internal security is a matter for the Police not army. The Army is for External enemies. This is another example of violation of Human Rights in Malawi
