Malawi CPI inflation quickens to 7.7 pct y/y in Sept

Date:

Malawi’s consumer inflation quickened slightly to 7.7 percent year-on-year in September from 7.6 percent in August, the country’s National Statistical Office (NSO) said on Monday.

The NSO said the rise was largely due to the continued increase in the price of non-food items.
