21 DCs get P3 promotions

Government has promoted 21 District Commissioners (DCs)to grade P3, seven years after the process of upgrading them started. P3 is at par with a Deputy Director,the third highest grade in a ministry. These promotions have been fast-tracked following a petition which some 16 DCs issued to President Joyce Banda in October this year, accusing ministry officials of nepotism and abuse.
