Speaker Chimuthu Banda, vice president Khumbo Kachali wrestle for Anita Kalinde

Battle for supremacy has ensued between Speaker Henrey Chimunthu Banda and vice president Khumbo Kachali over the ‘tender heart’ of Gender, Children and Community Development Minister Anita Kalinde.

The angelic Anita has all along been under the ‘custody’ of Chimunthu up until the ascendancy of Kachali into the vice presidency. As we are reporting the two great men on the land are not seeing each other well.

A senior member of parliament confirmed that the Chimunthu-Anitta affair was no secret at all as there is strong evidence that the speaker once ‘banged his hummer of authority’ on the Thyolo based angel up to the extent of impregnating her. She had to fly her to Johannesburg South Africa for abortion mid last year.

Barely few months after Anita’s abortion, innocently Khumbo took over the Lady Minister, a development which is said to have angered Chimunthu, who is Malawi’s celebrated skirt chaser in the political circles.

Apart from Anita, Khumbo is also playing around with Health Minister Cathleen Gotani Hara.

As for Chimunthu, this was not the first time to coax angelic cabinet minister. She was the first to welcome former first lady Callista Chapola Chimombo when she was Tourism and Culture Minister before Bingu takes over. Apart from Chimunthu and Bingu, other former man-friends of Callista were late Dumbo Lemani, Press Corporations CEO Mathews Chikaonda and Lands and Housing Minister Henry Duncan Phoya.
