Inkosi ya Makosi M’mbelwa’s remains to be taken to Lilongwe

The body of the Ngoni Chief, Inkosi ya Makosi M’Mbelwa will be ferried to Lilongwe this afternoon at 1700hrs.

Reports say the body will lie in state at Mtunthama State Residences in the Capital City, before being taken to Mzimba for burial at a date yet to be announced.

M’Mbelwa, who was born Zwangendaba Jere on August, 15 1954 and was installed as Paramount Chief in 1984, is survived by a wife and four children.
