Chipembere Highway impassable as riots continue

Chipembere Highway in Blantyre is currently impassable due to riots by DPP supporters who are protesting the arrest of their leader Peter Mutharika.
The supporters have also blocked the entrance to Southern Region Police and tear gas has been used to disperse them. The supporters however remain defiant.
