Mizeye happy with Bullets First goal

Bullets FC striker Brown ‘Fisi Matama’ Mizeye says he is happy to have finally scored his first goal for Bullets FC last Sunday

Mizeye moved to Bullets in April this season in one of the high profile transfers but failed to stamp authority at Bullets like he did at his former club Blantyre United.

At United he used to score a minimum of 14 goals a season but had not scored since April until last Sunday when he scored Bullets’ second goal as they beat Blue Eagles 2-0.

“It feels so good to score that goal as it has helped to ease pressure on my side. As a striker you are judged by how many goals you score so I had not scored at Bullets for such a long time.

“But it was all because of lack of confidence as I was playing all the games from the bench and that was my first start for Bullets in the league and I scored.

“If I get more game time I vow to score more goals,” said Mizeye.

Bullets coach Eddington Ng’onamo was full of praise for Mizeye for showing patience.

“He has never complained about being used as substute despite being a top striker, I like his patience and it has finally paid for him,” said Ng’onamo.
