JB REGISTERS, URGES PEOPLE TO VOTE WISELY

President Joyce Banda has registered this morning for the 2014 tripartite elections in her home village of Malosa, Zomba. Flanked by the first gentleman, President Banda became the next heavy contender for the post of Presidency to register after DPP’s Arthur Peter Mutharika registered a week earlier in his home district of Thyolo.

Writing on her official facebook page after the registration, President Banda urged other Malawians to go and register in their huge numbers if they have not yet done so. In addition, President Banda wrote that Malawians should register so that they have the chance to vote so as to move the nation forward.

“Malawians should vote so that we should not go back to the old days of shortage of fuel, shortage of forex, the days of living in fear,” so was it written on her Facebook post.
