KCH staff march to Parliament, calls for Bingu to resurrect

Date:

Doctors, nurses, support staff and other Malawians have marched to Parliament this afternoon to present their petition to the August house on the issue of shortage of medicine and the delay in their salaries.

Information gathered indicate that the staff and the patriotic citizens have decided to take their protests to Parliament after enduring living for too long without medication with doctors looking on at serious cases with no help to offer.

Further information obtained indicates that the staff have also been demonstrating over reports that their October salaries will be delayed over the Capitol Hill looting.

The staff went to Parliament singing songs that, among others, called for the former President, late Bingu wa Mutharika, to resurrect and claim back the country.
