Ghana through to Brazil 2014

Ghana has confirmed its place at the 2014 World cup finals to take place in Brazil.

Ghana have become the fourth team in Africa to qualify for the world’s top most loved trophy after Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Cameroon.

Ghana have defeated Egypt 7 – 3 on aggregate even though they lost by 2 goals to 1 in Cairo, Egypt. In the first leg, Ghana managed to beat Egypt by a staggering 6 – 1 in Accra.

This was the first time that the Egyptians were playing at home in a long time after they were suspended over security concerns. However, no problems have been reported for today’s match.
