Death is apparently in the air and while it might border on blasphemy to compare the death of Macholowe and that of Mandela, in Africa a death is a death.
Death has been announced of Clive Macholowe, a notorious criminal who was serving his time at the Zomba Maximum Security Prison in the former capital.
Macholowe, who was once pardoned before being sent back to Prison by the Bingu wa Mutharika regime, suffered from various illnesses before eventually succumbing last night, December 6, 2013.
Arrangements of the funeral of Macholowe who also went into singing when he got out after the pardon are yet to be known.
