CR7 wins the Ballon d’Or

Portuguesse and Real Madrid mildfielder, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is profoundly known as CR7 has outclassed two other contestants to win the 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or award in which he was contesting against Lioonel Messi of Argentina and Frank Ribery of France.

The moment he was announced as the winner, Ronaldo could not help it but shed tears as he went to receive his award carrying with him his son.

The win of Ronaldo has come at a time that many soccer pundits called the race a tight one. For some years, Ronaldo had been accompanying Messi in the race but to get no award in the end.
