Democratic Progressive Party(DPP) Presidential Candidate Peter Mutharika has said once voted into power in the forthcoming tripartite election he will make sure that all government officials implicated in the plundering of public resources at Capitol Hill are arrested.
He said this yesterday in Dedza during a whistle stop tour the party conducted ahead of Tuesday’s election.
In his speech, Mutharika said his government will adopt the zero-tolerance to corruption introduced by his late brother Bingu Wa Mutharika and he will make sure that all cash gates cases are quickly handled.
In education, Mutharika vowed to continue with the construction of more universities in the country.
The plundering of public resources came to light when unknown thugs attacked former Budget Director Paul Mphwiyo.
