Barely three days after the country’s Vice President Khumbo Hastings Kachali openly ditched the ruling People’s Party(PP) and endorse Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Presidential Candidate Peter Mutharika, former PP Vice President for the south Sidik Mia set to endorsed United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi.
Mia’s convoy has been sported by our reporter heading to Machinga where the young Muluzi is conducting whistle stop tour ahead of May 20 tripartite election.
Former Transport Minister is also expected to join the UDF.
Mia dumped PP early this year amid rumours that he was promised to be given a seat in Malawi Congress Party (MCP), the thing which was proved wrongly.
