Date:

As the voting in the Malawi’s first ever tripartite election enters second , Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has condemned the acts of violence that erupted in some centres leading to the extension of the process.

MEC Chairperson Maxon Mbendera said this during a press briefing held at Comesa Hall which is the main Tally Center for the  body where official results for the tripartite election will be announced.

In his speech , MEC chair warned anyone who will again disrupt the voting process in the centres where voting is currently under that the law will take its cost.
