MEC CHAIRPERSON SHOULD RESIGN BY 5PM- ATUPELE

United Democratic Front (UDF) Presidential torchbearer Atupele Austine Muluzi of Ung’ono Ung’ono fame in the first ever tripartite election has demanded immediate resignation of Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Maxon Mbendera by the end of business today.

The Young Muluzi said this during a press briefing held in Blantyre today.

In his speech, Muluzu described the just ended tripartite election as the worst election ever in the history of Malawi, hence, he called for the resignation of MEC chairperson by 5pm today.

He further threaten to take unspecified action if the share does not resign.

The young Muluzi in the unofficial results that are being aired by different local radio stations in the country is trailing on forth position.
