Police in Eastern Region are hunting for unknown thugs who murdered a third-year student at Domasi College of Education Alex Mazungwi.
Mazungwi, 40 was found dead closer to the school.
“The deceased met his fate when he was coming back to school from Songani at around 9pm on 24th May 2014. Upon reaching a place called Anganga Mumbe, Alex in the company of his fellow student met with a group of unknown people who attacked them,” read the statement.
The deceased was a third year student who hails from Chiudza Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Chiwere in Dowa.
