UNKNOWN PEOPLE ABANDONE A VEHICLE CONTAINING 350KGS OF INDIAN HEMP

Police in Balaka are hunting for unknown people who allegedly abandoned a vehicle containing Indian hemp weighing about 350kilograms.

Balaka Police public relation officer Sub-Inspector Joseph Sauka confirmed of the development in an interview with one of the local media house in the country[ZBS].

In his speech, Sauka said the suspects were traveling in a Toyota Vista registration number BP 292 which they dumped upon seeing Police officers on vehicle patrol around 0300 hours on Tuesday.

Selling or growing Indian hemp in Malawi is currently not allowed.
