The support staff of the Judiciary Service Commission country wide are on strike forcing the government to implement salary increment Which was agreed in 2013.
The supporting staff are demanding the government to increase their salaries by 30 percent.
FaceofMalawi reporter who visited Blantyre High Court this morning, found that the workers were just hovering outside the court premises while others were playing ‘bawo’.
The development have placed some cases which needs immediate attention like cases involving the plundering of public funds at Capitol Hill dubbed Cashgate on a stand still.
Meanwhile supporting staff have said they will return to work if their demands are met by the government.
