Water crisis has hit Kamuzu Central Hospital forcing authorities to suspend some critical procedures at the referral facility in the capital Lilongwe.
The problem is believed to have started over the Weekend.
KCH hospital director, Mable Chinkhata confirmed of the development and blamed the Lilongwe Water Board who apparently are having difficulties in pumping and distributing the commodity in the city.
Among the suspended procedures at the hospital are surgical operations which need a lot of water for sanitary purposes.
Water crisis seems to be a national problem at the moment as communities across the country are also complaining of the same challenge.
