A thief has been caught today morning near Shoprite in Blantyre as he was trying to get away with a woman’s cash.
FaceofMalawi speaking to an eye witness said the man had convinced a business lady who sells second hand clothes that he could connect her with people who would sell her bales at affordable prices.
“This is when the woman gave the man K130 000 to give the people he was referring to but then started playing tricks. This was when the woman screamed for help,” said the witness.
After hearing the screams people arrived at the scene where they started bitting the thief and had it not been for the quick response of Police mob justice would surely have taken place.
