A 52-year old man is reported dead in Mzimba after having excessive beer without talking any meal.
Mzimba Police Publicist Gabriel Chiona confirmed of the development in an interview with the Press and identified the deceased as Malikafu M’mbewe.
According to Chiona, the deceased left him on July 15, 2015 for a drinking spree and he spent a night there and the following day the deceased was nowhere.
He said the Villagers reported the man to matter who launched a man hunt for the deceased who was found dead on July 21 at a nearby bush while dead.
Postmortem results revealed that the deceased died of suffocation.
M’mbewe hails from Kayiwiwule Village in Nkhotakota district.
