Two people and a brother to Opposition People’s Party (PP) Publicity Secretary Ken Msonda have been shot dead by Police in the capital Lilongwe.
The two have been identified as Luke Lumbani Msonda and Lawrance Kawonga who were coming from Area 25 together with a friend.
According to information sourced by Faceofmalawi, after attacking the three, Police officer snatched from the cash amounting to MK176, 000 which Msonda collected from his debtors in Area 25.
In order to cover up the whole story it is reported that the Police officer took the body of the deceased to Kamuzu Central Hospital’s mortuary alleging they were robbers.
While there, Kawonga regained his consciousness and was rushed to the hospital’s ICU where he’s reported to have narrated the whole ordeal.
Confirming the development Msonda has described as shocking and unfortunate.
Meanwhile Msonda has vowed to seek justice on the matter.
