Death has been announced of former Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President and Member of Parliament of Parliament for Chikwawa West John Zingale.
Zingale died of Malaria on Tuesday at Mlambe Hospital in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Confirming the death, FAM President Walter Nyamilandu Manda said the body is shocked with the untimely death of Zingale.
“Our deepest condolences to his family and friends for their loss, hope they find strength in these difficult times. As the Association, the passing on of Mr. Zingale saddens us,” Nyamilandu said.
Zingale will be laid to rest on Thursday.
