MALAWI’s VICE PRESIDENT NOW A DOCTOR

The country’s Vice President Saulos Chilima has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the University of Bolton in the UK to earn himself the highest qualification in Knowledge Management.

According to a statement released to the Press signed by his Press Officer Pilirani Phiri, says Chilima will now be called Dr Saulos Chilima.

Dr Chilima has been studying for his PhD through the Malawi Institute of Management, since 2011 and last week he left the country for UK to defend his PHD.

Writing on his official facebook page, President Professor Arthur Peter has hailed the Vice President for earning a doctorate degree in Knowledge Management.

“It is the essence of Gordon B. Hinckley’s words that you have imprinted on Malawi’s next generation: “Do your best, and be a little better than you are,” wrote Mutharika.

Faceofmalawi joins the rest of Malawians in congratulating the Vice President for the putting Malawi on the map.
