The Police have confirmed of the development in a statement made available to FaceofMalawi and identified the suspects as Robert Malisewo, 48 and Alfan Bisayi, 29.

According to the statement, the Police recovered the rifle and arrested the two on November 11 as they were following up a different case.

“A standard search by the law enforcers revealed a discovery of eight live ammunition and the said rifle in an altered state.
