DAWN GOWA NYASULU PENS CHILIMA FOR CALLING MALAWIANS ‘IDIOTS’

The pronouncement that “Malawians are idiots” has been attributed to the Vice President, Right Hon Saulos Klaus Chilima, PhD.

Whether he was misquoted or rightly quoted, my fair analysis of the statement is that of total agreement with him. Idiocy is what actually made us vote for them despite proven facts that the Party propagates death for those who don’t buy their line of thought, Idiocy is what makes us clap hands when a fool poops in our dining plate, idiocy is what makes us keep quiet despite all the torture we get in the hands of these politicians, idiocy is what makes us honour multi-billion kwacha thieves and vilify and convict those who steal chickens and goats, idiocy is what makes us believe that laying of foundation stones is a very noble constitutional duty of the wise and dynamic leadership of a particular President, idiocy is the whole reason MBC gets our sympathy making it exist despite its being of no use in the present day Malawi, idiocy is what makes us still believe that Traditional Leaders will help to build a better Malawi. If that is not worth us being called idiots, what suits us to be called? IDIOTS, we are indeed.

Now listen Saulos, if the statement indeed came from your mouth, there are so many aspects that you didn’t realize before you said it. Are your parents Malawians? Is your boss, The President Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika Malawian? Is your wife Malawian? Are your Church Leaders, the Bishops, Malawians? If they are, they are as idiots as the rest of Malawians whom you have just referred to as such.
