TWO WOMEN ARRESTED FOR STEALING BEER IN CHIPIKU

Police in the capital Lilongwe on Monday arrested two women for allegedly stealing beer in Chipuku stores.

The two ladies whom police are yet to disclose their identities were using a vehicle registration number NU 641.

According to an eyewitness, the two packed their vehicle outside the shop and went inside as if they wanted to shop.

An eyewitness said the two then took this as an opportune time to steal without knowing that the CCTV camera placed in the shop plus security personnel were after them.

“As they walked majestically to go to their car an alert Security personnel pounced on them where all the beers were recovered and were detained,” said the eyewitness.women in picture

According to the eyewitness, the two ladies are habitual thieves and on Friday last week they did the same in the shop but they were sported late.
