MCHINJI WEST MP WHO HAD A VERBAL WAR WITH DEPUTY SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT NO MORE

Death has been announced of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Member of Parliament for Mchinji West Billy Kanjira Banda.

Kanjira Banda died after collapsing at St Francis Catholic Church in Lilongwe Area 25 Sunday morning.

MCP Public Relations Officer Gustavo Kaliwo confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

On Friday, late Kanjira Banda engaged in verbal war with Deputy Speaker of Parliament Esther Mcheka Chilenje Nkhoma and he was kicked out of the house for miss-conduct.

It all started when Kanjira Banda made allegations that DPP MPs have been promised huge sum of money once the vote allocation to the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) is passed.

Kanjila categorically pointed out Leader of government in the August House Francis Kasaila that he has been promised MK50 million.
