The Presidential adviser on national unity and parliamentary affairs Symon Vuwa Kaunda has urged farmers in the country to sell their maize to Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) in order to insure that the country has sufficient food in its silos.

Vuwa Kaunda has said this in Mzimba when he had a meeting with different chiefs and clergymen over weekend to show how government is committed towards ensuring enough food security in the country.

Malawi is about to experience national wide hunger disaster in this year following a dry spell during previous rain.
