They may look new on the music platform in Malawi. Upon hearing their virginal name, one can weigh their musical background in different angles but be calm and try to kiss them with your eardrums, you will realize that they are exceptional in the delivery of their joyous messages. The greatness in their debut gospel album called “Anzanga Tiyeni” lies in a good blend of melody, rhythm and harmony. Their angelic voices are ladders to heaven, showers of blessings and concoctions to the oppressed ears that are heavy laden.
Talking about the show, youth and music director Lyson Nyimba says they have organized the show in December this year in order to fuel the race of proclaiming the Good News to the world in the last days.
“This time around, Amazing Joy Kameza C.A.P Choir is coming with an intriguing gospel show which people around Blantyre should not miss because we are also honoured to share the stage with the Mighty Great Angels Choir. And we promise them nothing but the best on the day,” says Nyimba.
He adds: “When all is said and done, there are plans of producing the DVD through the money that will be collected on the show. We urge everyone to pay the sum of K1, 000 at the door in order for them to patronize the mouthwatering show”
Commenting on the working relationship with the Great Angels Choir, director of the Amazing Joy choir, Yonam Msumba, discloses that there is a strong bond between them.
“It’s a good thing that we have brothers and sisters in the name of the Great Angels Choir whom we share the same faith with. They inspire us a lot whenever we are ministering through music and we are always proud of them,” explains Msumba.
The show will be spiced up by the invited artists like Ndirande Anglican Voices, Mbayani Heavens Doors, Kachere C.O.C Melodies, Limbani Simenti, stand-up comedian Aunt Gate real name Kenwood Sambalika just to mention but a few.
Produced at Hil-Tek Records by Frank Allan, the ten track album comprises Goliati, Sankhani Yesu, Ndi Yesu, Thamanda, Ulendo, Anzanga Tiyeni, Uthenga, Ndithokoza, Ndagwada Ine, Ambuye Taonani which are enjoying massive airplay on the country’s local radio stations.
The Amazing Joy Kameza C.A.P Choir has 20 members, and it ventured into the music industry in 2014 with an aim of preaching to the world through singing.
