Man Arrested for Impersonating Principal Secretary for Ministry of Education, Science and Technology

Police in Lilongwe are keeping in custody Yotamu Mhango for impersonating the principal secretary (PS) for ministry of education, science and technology, Ken M`dala.
Lilongwe police station spokesperson Kingsley Dandaula said the PS complained about someone making calls to people that he was Dr Ken M`dala and he would give them consultancy work for the ministry .
According to Dandaula the suspect was allegedly targeting lecturers from universities and also various non-governmental organizations offering them opportunities to do consultancy or research work for the ministry while demanding money for the offers.
