Funeral service of late Helen Singh under way at Comesa hall

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has joined Malawians gathered at Comesa hall in the commercial capital Blantyre in paying last respect to the departed Helen Singh, President of United Independent Party (UIP).
Singh died on Saturday night at Blantyre Advents Hospital after suffering from cancer.
Singh contested in the 2014 tripartite elections on United Independent Party ticket. She was also a prominent businessperson.
The body of late Helen Singh will be cremated today.
