Police launches manhunt for captain of Lake Malawi boat accident

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Police in Rumphi have launched man hunt for captain of the boat that killed five people with 20 others missing.

The accident happened on Lake Malawi on Easter Sunday.

Rumphi Officer In-charge Danis Banda has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press, Bambalapa Ngwira’s arrest will help them a lot.

According to Banda, Ngwira is holding vital information regarding the number of passengers who were on board.

Ngwira went missing same Sunday but some survivors claim he survived in the accident.
