Why I think Kamlepo Kalua would stage his own abduction

The former leader of Malawi Democratic Party, Kamlepo Kalua whose his presidential ambition evaporated into thin air that forced him to always speak noise in opposition against ruling government would do anything to gain some attention.

Kalua likes living a movie life, a life which is not real that permitted him to think  he would be  a president of this nation, shamefully in 1999 presidential election he got 1.4% of the total national vote with support from his poorly structured party which started in 1993.

The controversial leader has been threatening the ruling government, by then was United Democratic Front (UDF) of starting a war after this a pathetic loss,  which from there he sided himself to negative criticism.

People include ruling government, Democratic progressive party (DPP) consider Kalua’s talk in opposition just as any of that water-cooler talk, in short people cease  taking him seriously.

After having a wind of this situation, is what likely that forced him to seek attention through other means, which is to stage his captivity.

The missing of Kalua news was unearthed after Malawi Road Authority (MRA) searched his house and   confiscated two cars which was unlawfully registered.

The police of Malawi  also strongly believe that Kalua possibly stage his own abduction, as they failed to get any tangible evidence from kalua’s claims.

Kalua got missing for almost one week before they found him tied arms and legs just few Kilometre from his house in Kolokosa.

This is second time, a politician in Malawi kidnapped himself for political reason, Moses  Kumkuyu also did in 2009.

Later on it come to light that he had actually staged his own abduction, paid reporters to report it while he was having funny with sex worker at certain Lodge in Blantyre.
