ZBS presenter Cynthia Zonde Zulu criticized over dressing

Debate has ensured on the social media over some of the dressing code that some Television personalities put on when hosting programmes with the latest being that of Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) presenter Cynthia Zonde Zulu.

Zulu was spotted putting on miniskirt with her thighs out during interview with one of the popular musician Smarcks in programme called ‘Fresh’ previously hosted by Ruth Kulaisi who is currently on maternity leave.

Her dressing attracted debate with others saying the dressing code displayed by Zulu is against Malawian culture.

Nathan Kajombo wrote: “Another proof that Africa lost its morals and standards …How can they even let her go on TV like that?? Ana amasiku ano akungotengela zomwe akuona pa TV its part of the propaganda the white people are using on us cant u see??? Why do we always admire western lifestyle?? A smart person knows his/her roots.”

On his part Maya Ndalama wrote: “I thought it was only me who closed my eyes in shame. Malawi.”

Calvin Ephraim also wrote: “Mwana ameneyu amaonjeza dressing yake.maybe akugwilitsa ntchito ka slogan kawo kaja koti malonda nkusatsa.”

Meanwhile Zodiak officials are yet to comment on the matter.
