Kunkuyu blocked from holding convention at College of Medicine

Information sourced by Faceofmalawi indicates that the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) yet again blocked Moses Kunkuyu of Transformation Alliance (TA) from holding his convection at College of Medicine sports complex.

The development comes barely two days after the ruling DPP also attempted to broke the rally organized by the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) in Balaka.

Kunkuyu confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

“I can confirm that College of Medicine called us at this eleventh hour to inform us that they can’t allow us to use their venue anymore,” said Kunkuyu.

According to Kunkuyu, the CoM has cited noise the reason for the cancelation of the event.

Meanwhile inside sources say CoM has received orders from DPP’s regional governor for the south Charles Mchacha to cancel the event.
