Six years without Bingu wa Mutharika

April 5, 2018 mark exactly six years since President Professor Bingu wa Mutharika died while in office, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Late Bingu died of Cardiac arrest in 2012. His death saw the then Vice President Joyce Banda taking over the helm of leadership.

Bingu had its own philosophy of developing the country and one of it being encouraging Malawians to be self-reliant.

Late Bingu made headlines when he openly challenged donors on calls to devalue the Kwacha.
